Take a step into Dublin’s picturesque nature and discover the flawless views of the East Coast. Leave the city behind on this guided tour and travel by train with a local guide, arriving at Killiney Beach, where we step off right at the water’s edge. As we climb the steady incline of Killiney Hill, we’re rewarded with some of Dublin’s most show-stopping views. Breathe in the sea air and take in the mountains, beach and sea as we pause to explore Killiney’s history. From famous local residents to Norman visitors, we uncover the past of this affluent neighbourhood.
As we wind our way across Killiney Hill towards Dalkey, we discover a sleepy coastal town known today as the “Amalfi Coast of Ireland”. We wander its narrow, quaint streets while sharing stories of the town’s Viking founders, tracing the remnants of Dalkey Castle and soaking up more of Dublin’s coast.
By the time we reach Dún Laoghaire, a well-deserved break awaits in a local Irish pub before we set out to explore the town. Steeped in history and blessed with a beautiful harbour, Dún Laoghaire is where we share tales of ancient kings, raids and shipwrecks. Join us on a six-hour adventure from the city centre into the heart of Dublin’s natural beauty.
*Important note
